HASSCloud Account Management

HASSCloud Account Management

This section explains how to manage your account, organization, licenses, and profile settings in HASS Cloud.

Manage Account

Manage Account

Manage Account is where you manage subscriptions, licenses, team members, organization settings, and your personal profile. Open it from your account name or profile icon by selecting Manage Account.

The page contains five tabs: Billing, Licenses, Organization, Profile, and Privacy. Some actions, such as inviting members and managing licenses, are available only to users with an Admin role.

Billing

Billing shows current subscription status. The Subscription card indicates whether subscription is Active or inactive and displays expiration date. Contact your administrator for subscription terms or renewal questions.

Licenses

Licenses tab is used by administrators to assign, transfer, and revoke editor licenses.

License Summary

The License Summary card shows total available editor licenses and assigned licenses. The progress bar gives a quick visual of license usage.

Team Members

Team Members table lists users, license type, assignment date, and transfer availability. Select Refresh to update the list.

To manage a member's license, open the three-dot menu in the Actions column and select Downgrade to Editor, Transfer License, or Revoke License.

Transfer License

Transfer License moves an editor license from one member to another. In the dialog, select the new holder, optionally choose a recipient for current holder files, and optionally enter a reason. A 60-day transfer cooldown applies after transfer.

Revoke License

Revoke License removes editor access and changes that user to viewer. You must select another user to receive the revoked user's files, and file shares that were Edit for that user are downgraded to View. Seat cooldown also applies: one immediate reassignment is allowed, then 60 days before another reassignment.

If you need additional people before assigning licenses, go to Organization -> Members and invite them first.

Organization

Organization tab manages organization profile and membership. It includes General and Members sections in the left sidebar.

General

General displays organization profile values such as logo and name. Select Update profile to upload a new logo (recommended 1:1, up to 10MB) or change organization name, then select Save.

Members

Members shows organization members with name, email, join date, and role (Admin or Member). Use search to locate specific members.

Select Invite to add members. Enter one or more emails (space/comma separated), choose role, then select Send invitations. Switch between Members and Invitations sub-tabs for active or pending users.

Roles vs Licenses

Admin/Member roles control organization-level administration (billing, license management, member management). File edit capability is controlled separately by assigned editor license in the Licenses tab.

Profile

Profile tab manages personal account details and security.

Profile Section

View and update your name, email, and phone number. Select Update profile for display name or profile image updates. Select + Add phone number to add/update phone.

Security Section

Update password by selecting Update password and entering current password plus a new one. You can also add a passkey and enable two-step verification.

Active Devices lists current signed-in sessions with device/browser, IP, location, and latest activity time.

Privacy

Privacy tab includes data management and legal links.

Export Your Data

Download a JSON export of profile information, preferences, and file metadata.

Legal Documents

Access Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Cookie Policy.

Organization Data Collection

Toggle de-identified organization-level data collection on/off for the organization.

Account deletion is requested through the linked support portal.
